Located off NC Hwy. 281 south from US Hwy. 64 for 3.6 mi. to
SR 1189, there is limited parking there. To locate the trailhead continue south on shoulder and locate trail on the left before the power line. The trail will become apparent at the bottom of the riprap, continue southward .2 mi. following the sound of the falls, the trail is not easy.
